Growing up in middle Tennessee, Emily started playing music from a young age. Her grandmother was a piano teacher and her father played several instruments. As a child, Emily took years of formal piano lessons and performed all over the country with an auditioned children’s choir.
As an adult, Emily has performed in women’s choirs in Austin and Atlanta. She has experience playing keys and singing backup with cover bands such as Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Dolly Parton and Queen. She enjoys the community that is created when playing with other musicians, and she loves finding the right sounds and vocal harmonies for each song.
A few years ago, Emily began studying music composition and production. She has experience writing and producing pop music for film and TV and her tracks are signed with multiple music libraries.
Some of Emily’s favorite artists include boygenius, Brandi Carlile, Indigo De Souza, Tori Amos and Billie Eilish. When Emily is not playing music, you will find her supporting other Austin musicians at their shows, reading a good book and hanging out with friends and family.
