Cassie is a multi-instrumentalist and composer with a background in percussion performance. She spent her public school years in drum line and punk bands and first graced the Austin music scene in 2010, performing and recording with countless local projects.
Now, she plays in the brass ensemble Dead Music Capital Band, Jolie & the Pussycats (a Josie & the Pussycats cover band), several indie projects, and runs a private music lessons business. Never one to sit still, when she’s not performing or teaching, she’s entertaining kids with Mystic Drumz–a captivating international children’s percussion show.
At home, she spends her time cuddling her two dogs Gabby and Makari and watching horror movies with her husband. You’ll also find her singing it out at Karaoke Underground or supporting local music pals at their shows around town.
